The Arab League discusses the work of the integrated platform for the Arab media action plan abroad


The Technical Secretariat of the Council of Arab Information Ministers, in the League of Arab States, held today, Tuesday, the meeting of the mini-committee to draft the general framework for the work of the observatory and the integrated platform for the plan for Arab media action abroad, with the participation of a number of Arab countries, namely Jordan, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Palestine, Libya, Morocco, Yemen, and the Union of Arab Broadcasting The Arab countries and the General Union of Arab Producers are among the organizations and unions practicing media missions.


At the beginning of the mini-committee meeting, the Director of the Technical Secretariat of the Council of Arab Information Ministers, Fawzi Al-Ghwail, welcomed the participating delegations from member states and from organizations and unions practicing media tasks, expressing his hope that the results of this meeting will be crowned with success.


During the meeting, the agenda was reviewed, the delegations’ interventions were listened to, and the proposals submitted by the General Secretariat (the Technical Secretariat of the Council of Arab Information Ministers) to the committee, on the draft general framework for the work of the observatory and the integrated platform for the plan for Arab media action abroad.


The committee also recommended that a team made up of the State of Palestine, the General Union of Arab States Broadcasting and the Union of Arab Producers undertake the task of monitoring and compiling the media content of the Palestinian cause, in a way that contributes to providing sufficient media material for the work of the observatory and platform, within a maximum period of one month from its date.
