Osama Abdel Karim: Mahmoud Gad is a promising goalkeeper.

Osama Abdel Karim, the former Egypt Olympic goalkeeper coach, defended himself against the statements of Hilmy Tolan, technical director of Enppi Club, regarding the weight gain of Mahmoud Gad, the goalkeeper of the petroleum team, saying: “Gad’s relationship with the Olympic team ended on July 31 last, and the player has been in Enppi for two weeks. Will Captain Helmy be surprised by the increase in the guard’s weight?!”

And Helmy Tolan had stated yesterday that Mahmoud Gad, an Enppi goalkeeper, returned from the Tokyo Olympics weighing more than 6 kilos in one month, and said: "How can a player be allowed to gain so much weight! He is responsible for that Olympic team."

And the coach of the Olympic team goalkeepers explained in television statements to the Ontime Stadium program, on the Ontime Sports channel, with the media, Seif Zaher: “It is reported that the goalkeeper gained weight in Tokyo with us is incorrect, and the technical staff has nothing to do with that, so did we include Mohamed El-Shennawy and Mohamed Sobhi? In order for them to train, and Mahmoud Gad, we included him so that he would not train!”

Abdel Karim continued: “Did the medical system set a nutrition program for all players and put another program for Mahmoud Gad!, and only the player has the answer about his weight gain, so the coach who cannot control his players should look for a hanger to hang on unless he can’t He did it, and the team will not be a (peg).”

And the coach of the Olympic team guards concluded: "Mahmoud Gad is a distinguished and promising goalkeeper, and he will be the future of Egyptian football, and instead of sending him negative energy, we must give him a positive energy."
