The report issued by OAPEC added that, at the level of exporting countries, the United States managed to achieve a jump in the volume of its exports during the second quarter of 2021, for the third consecutive quarter, as it set a new record in its history since joining the natural gas exporting countries. The issue is exporting about 18.1 million tons, compared to about 9.9 million tons during the same quarter of 2020, with an annual growth rate of about 83% (meaning that exports have almost doubled). All gas liquefaction projects are now operating at their full production capacity, with natural gas feeding supplies amounting to about 11.5 billion cubic feet per day.
