Real Madrid extends Nacho Fernandez's contract until 2023

Real Madrid announced the extension of the contract of defender Nacho Fernandez for two more seasons to defend the colors of Real Madrid until 2023.

Real Madrid published an official statement on its official website and account via Twitter, saying: “Real Madrid CF and Nacho Fernandez have agreed to extend the player’s contract, which will remain linked to the club for the next two seasons, until June 30, 2023.”

Real's announcement of the extension of Nacho's contract comes minutes after the announcement of Sergio Ramos's signing to Paris Saint-Germain, approximately the same period until June 30, 2023.

Nacho, 31, has been in Real Madrid's age groups since 2001, and joined the first team in the 2011 season, and the Spanish international seeks to provide a distinguished performance with Italian Carlo Ancelotti during the new season.

The renewal with Nacho comes due to the club's need to strengthen the back line, especially after the departure of Sergio Ramos from the team, in addition to the possibility of the departure of Frenchman Varane this summer in order to experience a new experience in his career.

Nacho participated in 158 games for Real Madrid in the Spanish League, and managed to score 8 goals and assisted 5 goals.
