Pfizer holds a press conference on the activities of the 14th African Oncology Forum

Pfizer in Africa and the Middle East held a video press conference, on the sidelines of the 14th Pfizer Forum on Oncology in Africa and the Middle East, in the presence of a number of specialists in the region, to shed light on cancer and raise awareness about this disease, today, Monday, July 5.

The participants discussed a number of topics related to the causes and types of cancer, in addition to highlighting the latest developments and developments related to it, in addition to the importance of early diagnosis.

The press conference was attended by: Pfizer's chief medical expert in Africa and the Middle East, Dr. Yasser Abdel Qader, Professor of Oncology at Cairo University, and Dr. Marwan Ghosn, Head of the Department of Hematology and Oncology at the Faculty of Medicine at Saint Joseph University in the Lebanese capital, Beirut. And Dr. Hamdi Abdel-Azim Professor of Oncology at Cairo University.

The conference discussed the developments and achievements in the field of tumors, especially in the treatment of breast cancer, kidney, lung, bladder, urinary, and gastrointestinal cancers. Pfizer aims to make huge scientific discoveries and improve the treatment of patients from these cancerous tumors.

Pfizer said that thanks to these developments, targeted immunotherapies have been provided for various types of cancers in the late stages to the later stages, as these treatments have achieved great success in controlling tumors and increasing the chances of survival.
