Oil prices record $75.51 for Brent and $74.39 for US crude

Today, oil prices recorded $75.51 a barrel for the global benchmark Brent crude futures contract, and the US West Texas Intermediate crude futures contract registered $74.39 a barrel.


According to international media reports, oil prices witnessed a rise today, which was supported by the decrease in US inventories.


Oil prices recorded their fifth consecutive weekly gain at the end of trading sessions in the futures markets last Friday, as Brent crude contracts rose 3.6% compared to the end of the previous week, and West Texas crude contracts rose 3.4%.
