Morocco extends the validity of the state of health emergency until next September 10 to contain Corona


The Moroccan government decided to extend the validity of the state of health emergency for an additional month, extending to next September 10, as part of continuing preventive measures to combat the outbreak of the Corona epidemic (Covid-19).


The procedures for this extension include the continuation of the night curfew, the continued closure of restaurants and shops at eleven o’clock at night, and the prohibition of holding parties and social events, and public or private gatherings.

 

The Moroccan Ministry of Health recorded 2,853 new cases of Coronavirus (Covid-19), bringing the total number of infections to 555,488 cases.

 

The ministry indicated that 7 deaths from the virus were recorded; This brings the total deaths since the beginning of the epidemic to 9,434 cases, while the total number of recovery cases increased to 530,801 cases.

During the past 24 hours, the Moroccan Ministry of Health recorded 2,853 new cases of Coronavirus (Covid-19), bringing the total number of infections to 555,488 cases.
