Violent clashes between Tunisian security and Esperance fans in the stands before the Al-Ahly meeting

The stands of Hamadi Al-Aqrabi Stadium in Rades witnessed violent clashes between the Tunisian Esperance fans and the security forces due to the riots carried out by the Esperance fans before the start of the Al-Ahly match in the first leg of the African Champions League semi-final.

The stands of the stadium witnessed hit-and-run operations between the Esperance fans and the Tunisian security forces, who chased after the fans to control the riots in the match stadium.

Al-Ahly will meet its Tunisian counterpart, Esperance, at six in the evening, in the first leg of the semi-finals of the African Champions League.

Al-Ahly first team football players left Hamadi Al-Aqrabi Stadium in Brades due to suffocation and inability to breathe due to the Tunisian security firing tear gas canisters to control the Esperance fans riot in the stands after minutes of warm-up operations.

The team's medical staff is looking for solutions to treat the players' suffocation so as not to affect them in the match.
