Dr. Ali Al-Moselhi, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, and Dr. Assem Al-Jazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, held a meeting to review the plots of land required to establish the various activities of the Ministry of Supply, in the new cities, in the presence of a group of leaders and heads of companies affiliated with the Ministry of Supply, and the Vice Presidents of the Communities Authority The new urban.

 

Dr. Ali Al-Moselhi pointed out that the activities that the Ministry of Supply undertakes to establish include central markets, commercial and logistical areas, food industry activities, the establishment of consumer complexes, wholesale warehouses, and the establishment of metal silos to store wheat.

 

Dr. Assem Al-Jazzar stressed that there is coordination and integration between officials from the two ministries, in order to provide the lands required for the establishment of activities related to catering and internal trade, in order to provide various services to residents of new cities, which increases the factors that attract residents to them, and accelerates the rates of development in them.

 

During the meeting, it was agreed to list all the lands and spaces required by the entities affiliated with the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade, for the New Urban Communities Authority of the Ministry of Housing to allocate them in accordance with the authority’s work rules, which represents an important element of attraction for developers and investors within the package of incentives and facilities provided by the state to increase Investment rates in the sectors of internal trade, food industries, silos and warehousing activities, which will reflect positively on the growth rates of the Egyptian economy.
