The Kremlin reiterates President Putin's readiness to meet his Ukrainian counterpart

Press spokesman for the Russian President (Kremlin) Dmitry Peskov reiterated the readiness of Russian President Vladimir Putin to meet with his Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Zelensky, noting that there are no concrete steps in this regard so far.

"President Putin himself has already announced his readiness to meet with President Zelensky," Peskov told reporters.

The Kremlin press spokesman added: "I am sure that nothing has changed in this regard, but so far no concrete steps have been taken to organize this meeting."

Peskov indicated that the Russian and US presidents discussed the Ukrainian issue in Geneva yesterday, as well as files such as Syria, Iran and Libya, explaining that contacts in this regard will continue.
