Bayern Munich faces Monchengladbach in the opening of the German League August 13

The German League announced today, Friday, the date of the start of the 59th edition of the Bundesliga competitions for the 2021-2022 season, which will start on August 13 with a meeting between defending champion Bayern Munich and its host Borussia Moenchengladbach.

The Bundesliga has set May 14, 2022, as the date for the end of the competition, and the German Super Cup between Bayern Munich, the league champion, and Borussia Dortmund, the cup champion, will be held on August 17, at the “Sigtal Iduna Park”, the last stronghold of the team.

The German League confirmed that the full schedule of Bundesliga matches for the next season, 2021-2022, will be announced on July 5.

It is worth noting that Bayern Munich won the German League title last season for the ninth time in a row.
