According to a report published by the UNICEF website, there are some tips that support the mother to take care of her child during the first six months after coming to life.

Among the most prominent of those tips are the following:

1. Breastfeeding:

Breastfeeding is one of the most important gifts that the mother gives to her newborn so that it grows normally and protects it from many diseases and gives it natural immunity from any viral infection that attacks its small body.

2. The importance of interacting with the child

During the first six months, the mother must interact with her child constantly, have fun with him and smile at him, which greatly develops the child's abilities.

3. Talk to your child

Talking and singing to your child helps him develop his speech, language and auditory abilities.

4. Cuddle your newborn

Cuddling your child is a very important habit. Your child should touch your skin to feel safe, reassured and relaxed, especially before bedtime.

5. Develop his motor skills

Try to develop your child's motor skills by placing him on his tummy and drawing his attention with a toy and moving it at a distance from him to help him move his head and shoulders.

6. Develop his visual skills

Try to develop your baby's visual skills by using colorful pictures that attract his attention.


7. Give your child freedom of movement
