97.7 million pounds, net purchases of Arabs on the Egyptian Stock Exchange during the last week


Egyptians’ transactions recorded 83.3% of the total transactions on shares listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange, during the last week’s sessions. Foreigners accounted for 9.1%, and Arabs accounted for 7.6%, after excluding deals, according to the weekly report of the Egyptian Stock Exchange, and foreigners recorded net selling. On the Egyptian Stock Exchange, at a value of 111.7 million pounds, while the Arabs recorded a net purchase of 97.7 million pounds, after excluding deals.

  

Egyptians’ transactions represented 81.6% of the trading value of listed shares since the beginning of the year after excluding deals, while foreigners recorded 11.2%, Arabs scored 7.2%, and foreigners recorded net sales on the Egyptian Stock Exchange since the beginning of the year at a value of 2.3 billion pounds, while Arabs continued to record a net purchase of 581.1 million pounds, on the listed shares, after excluding deals since the beginning of the year.

 

The main index of the Egyptian Stock Exchange “EGX30” rose by 4.19% to close at the level of 10278.86 points, during the sessions of the last week, and the index of small and medium stocks “EGX 70 of equal weights” rose by 1.36% to close at the level of 2328.72 points, and the “EGX” index recorded X 100 of equal weights” rose by 2.18% to close at the level of 3296.87 points, and the “EGX 30 index of specific weights” recorded an increase of 3.86%, to close at the level of 12877.36 points, and the Excellence Index fell in the first trading week by 1.55% to close at 2173.33 points.

 

The market capitalization of the Egyptian Stock Exchange rose by about 18.4 billion pounds during the sessions of the last week, the fourth week in June, to close at 651.5 billion pounds, with a growth rate of 2.9%, and the market capitalization of the main index jumped from 328.8 billion pounds to 342.5 billion pounds, with a rate of A growth of 4.2%, and the capital of the small and medium stock index increased from 113.9 billion pounds to 115.5 billion pounds, with a growth rate of 1.4 percent.

 

The capital of the broader index also increased from 442.8 billion pounds to 458.1 billion pounds, with a growth rate of 3.5%, and the market capital of the Nile Exchange increased from 1.1 billion pounds to 1.2 billion pounds, with a growth rate of 4.1%.
