Here is the Olympiad ... Japan prevents the Pharaohs from reaching the London 2012 final


"Here the Olympiad" is a continuous series during the month of Ramadan on the previous Olympic Games, and the most important information about the Egyptian missions, and the history of their participation in the Olympiad from its inception until now.

 

The soccer team participated in the 2012 London Olympics, where it was drawn in the third group with the Brazilian and New Zealand teams, and 3 players from the match participated with the Olympic team, namely Ahmed Fathy, Marwan Mohsen and Abu Trika, and in the first match, the Brazil national team scored three goals in the first half while The Pharaohs scored twice for Abu Trika and Mohamed Salah in the 52nd and 76th minutes, but the match ended with this result and the Brazilian team won and Egypt received its first Olympic defeat.

The second match was against New Zealand and ended with a goal for each team.

 

The Pharaohs team had to win over Belarus if they wanted to qualify for the quarter-finals, and indeed the match ended with the Egyptian team winning three goals against one goal for the Belarusian team, and Egypt qualifies for the quarter-finals of the Olympics for the first time since the Los Angeles Olympics 1984.

 

The match witnessed a clear advantage for the Japanese team, as the Egyptian team lost 3 straight goals, and ended its participation in the London Olympics.
