Gold trading witnessed fluctuations to the upside during the past week, especially after the Fed’s meeting minutes showed that some members see that it is time to "think" about adjusting monetary policy, as the precious metal continued to rise and trade above the levels of the daily moving averages.

Gold may continue its trend to rise this week and may target levels of $ 1,900, breaching the $ 1900 level to the upside may be a reason to push the precious metal to the resistance level at $ 1911 before targeting the $ 1960 area, which represents the highest levels since the end of 2020.

On the other hand, failure to breach the $ 1,900 level could push prices back down and trade in the range between $ 1875 and $ 1890, the key support level to watch is $ 1,850.
