An earthquake measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale strikes the Algerian state of Boumerdes


A tremor measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale struck today, Monday, Boumerdes province, north of Algeria.

 

A statement by the Center for Research in Astronomy, Astrophysics and Geophysics in Algeria stated that the epicenter of the quake was located 35 km northwest of the Delus region of Boumerdes province in the sea.

 

The statement did not clarify whether it resulted in human losses or material damage or not.
