Palestine appreciates the Jordanian role in facing the forced displacement of Sheikh Jarrah's people

Today, Wednesday, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs appreciated the Jordanian role in following up the forced displacement of Sheikh Al-Jarrah's families in Jerusalem, expressing its thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom, the king, the government and the people, for this stance.

According to the Palestinian News Agency, the Foreign Ministry praised Jordan's efforts and the tremendous efforts made by its institutions to find the necessary documents in this case, noting that it was handed over a certified copy of the documents that were found related to concluding housing contracts for a number of Sheikh Jarrah's residents, including It includes the agreement with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) and lease contracts, bearing in mind that finding these documents is an accurate, complicated, long and arduous process.

The Ministry condemned the forced displacement and expulsion carried out by the Israeli occupation authorities against the Palestinians in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of occupied Jerusalem, with the aim of deporting them from their homes by force under false and illegal pretexts, and it holds the Israeli government fully and directly responsible for the results and repercussions of this ongoing crime.
