Pakistani security has foiled a terrorist operation and confiscated a large amount of explosives


The Pakistani security forces foiled a terrorist operation and confiscated a large amount of weapons and explosives during an operation they carried out in Bajaur district in northwestern Pakistan, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).


Pakistani security sources said today that the operation was carried out in light of intelligence information, as a squad of security forces raided a site of terrorist elements and found a secret store of terrorist elements from which they seized 15 mortar shells, more than 20 explosive devices, maps of sensitive sites, and a quantity of weapons and ammunition.


She added that those weapons and explosives were smuggled to the Bajaur region to carry out a major terrorist operation on a sensitive target in the area before the blessed Eid Al-Fitr.
