Here the Olympiad is a continuous series during the month of Ramadan on the previous Olympic Games and the most important information about the Egyptian missions and the history of their participation in the Olympiad from its inception until now.


Egypt participated in the Olympic Games at the level of football teams in previous versions, where the Egyptian national team played 32 games in the Olympiad, won 10 times, tied in 4 matches, and lost 18 times.

 

The Pharaohs' players scored 68 goals and conceded 87 during the Olympic tournaments.

 

The last Olympic Games Egypt participated in came after a long absence that lasted for 20 years from the Olympic Games, as the Egyptian national team qualified to participate in the London 2012 Games, but came out of the quarter-finals by losing to Japan (3-0).

 

Egypt qualified for the Tokyo Olympics after defeating South Africa by three goals to none, which Ramadan Sobhi scored from a penalty kick in the 59th minute, and Abdel Rahman Magdy in the 85th and 89th minutes, in the semi-final match of the African Under-23 Cup of Nations qualifying for the Olympics Which was hosted by Egypt and through which the three-placed holders of the Olympiad qualify for the tournament.
