Fiorentina lures Gattuso with technical and administrative powers to take over the training of the viola in the summer

Italian press reports revealed that Fiorentina club management was granted special technical and administrative powers, in order to lure Gennaro Gattuso, the coach of the Napoli team, to take over the task of training the Viola next summer, at the end of the current season.

The Italian website "Toto Mercato" stated that the relationship between Gennaro Gattuso and the president of Napoli club had entered a deadlock as a result of ignoring the renewal of the coach for weeks.

The Italian website stated that Gattuso and Fiorentina club management have reached an advanced stage of talks, and that the deal is imminent between the two parties.

The report indicated that the Fiorentina club management decided to grant the freedom to determine the upcoming summer transfers to Gattuso if the mission was approved, while renewing the blood of the team completely and building a new generation of players with a lower average age.

In a related context, the management of the Italian club Napoli put the coach of Empoli, Alessio Dionici, at the top of the names of the candidates to lead the team in the next season, after it was largely confirmed the departure of the current coach Gennaro Gattuso.

"It seems certain that Gattuso will leave the Diego Armando Maradona stadium at the end of the season, as his relationship with club president Aurelio De Laurentiis remains strained," the Italian network Medias report confirmed.

The report added that Lazio coach Simeone Inzaghi, along with other names such as Vincenzo from Spezia, Verona coach Ivan Juric, Max Allegri and Luciano Spalletti are among the favorites, but the Empoli coach is in the lead.

The report indicated that the current Napoli coach Gattuso is also close to hiring Italian club Fiorentina to take over the responsibility, starting from next season.

Napoli occupies fifth place with 59 points in the table, two points ahead of fourth-placed Atalanta.
